"No one did it to me," Remus assured her. "Trust me on that."

She nodded and sat down. "Damn, part of me was hoping I had an excuse to attack Bella dearest. Oh well, I'll find something else," she joked, making light of the situation.

"You don't need an excuse to attack her. She's a bitch; that should be enough," Remus remarked as he sat back down. The statement was harsher than normal for him, but he'd never been one to like the Death Eaters.

"True," she said, nodding in agreement. "I do have enough on her. The things she says to me. Not to mention, she's completely infatiuated with the idea of being a Death Eater," she said, getting angry at the idea.
She wanted to kill all Death Eaters--they killed her dad last year. They hated people like her--muggleborns and muggles, and even halfbloods.

"All they want is power." Remus rolled his eyes. "They're delusional, every one of them. It won't do them any good. How do they know he even trusts them, anyway?"

"He doesn't," she shook her head. "Anyone that is as awful and power hungry as him doesn't trust or love anyone--everything he does is for his own benefit. He could care less about the rest. The whole lot of them do it because they're all from those uppity pureblood families who are completely blind. They disgust me," she said, bitterness in her voice.

"Me too." Remus sighed. They didn't show tolerance for anyone-- and he was damned sure that if they knew what he was, they wouldn't hesitate from killing him, either.

"I want to be an Auror," she said. "That way, I can kill them or throw them in Azkaban...either way, I just want to get rid of them. Even kill Voldemort myself," she said. "Once I get out of here, I'm moving out of my mother's house and doing just that."

((re'd TMOLM, darling, sorry... was having fun screwing around with the Photoshop thing on my comp trying to do Micah's av )) "I'll be right there with you," Remus promised. "Someone has to stop them. This can't keep going on."

"Exactly. With Dumbledore on our side, how hard can it be? If there's anyone to beat them, it's us. It can't go on forever, y'know?" she said, getting excited at the thought of getting revenge. "With me, there's a personal score to settle with them, as well as doing it for the better of everyone. I won't stand for it."

Remus nodded in agreement. "I just hope it ends soon. I wouldn't want anyone to grow up like we have... if I ever have children, I wouldn't want them to grow up in a world like this."

"They won't. Not if I can help it," she said forcefully. "But...I don't want that either. I wouldn't want my kids going through this. It's absolutely dreaful. Period."

"Sometimes I wonder if it'll ever end," Remus sighed. "I mean, I don't doubt that we can stop it, most of the time. But other times I think, we're just a bunch of kids. How could we possibly go up against something like that?"

"But you have to take into account that we've live in a time with such troubles that we're not exactly young kids...we're just barely adults, but still, we could do something. We have to. Besides, I'm sure it wouldn't be just us. There's Aurors and other adults. We're not alone, Rem."

"Guess we should be grateful for that," Remus smiled. After a few moments of silence, the train pulled to a halt, and Remus helped Marly pull down her bags, holding the door of the compartment open for her. "After you, milady."
