Lily gave a short laugh. "Sirius, there was no secret! Listen, back out in the hallway, James and I were talking. And I suppose I was still a little peeved about what had happened, so I suggested that we play a simple prank. Which was, as you can guess, us telling you and Marly that we had become an item. But.. something changed, I guess. And I wanted the real thing."
