Sorry this took me so long to actually post! Damn distracting graphics.
Like A Plant Kept In The Dark
Student Information
Full Name: Severus Snape
Age: 16 ; 9 January '59
Year: 6th
House: Slytherin
Appearance Description: An awkwardly thin body type, tall and pallid. His hair is long and greasy reaching his shoulders, jet black- like his eyes, so dark they make people think of empty tunnels. He was like a plant kept in the dark. His skin so ignored by the sun, his mother would always say he was 'two shades lighter than chalk' in his late teen years.
Biography (at least two para):
Raised in a small undecorated onestory house planted in a rundown industrial city, northern England. His muggle father, Tobias, was nothing less than an ignorant and troubled man following his hard home life that he seems to brought to his son. Severus' mother, Eileen, suffered most of her husband's abusive personality. Although it effected Severus horribly, and made him the gloomy snarling teen his is now.
With friendship can build a lot of love in a person, and with Lily Potter's warmth Snape was learned so much by teaching her. She clung to him the minute he began to speak of the wizarding world and the magic abilities she might be experiancing. Soon she would be joining him for their first year of Hogwarts.
Severus would usually stay behind during the holidays. He was thrilled enough just to not have to come home to his parents every day. His staying at school, although, would really depend on who else would be hanging around. If 'certain' people weren't taking their breaks away from school, Sev wasn't likely to stay. Even though choosing between home life and bullying slime at school was a hard choice.
Last year Severus had an unfortunate experiance with a few unfriendly Gryffindors. While on the defensive he said something unforgivable conserning the kindest and most loyal friend he could ever dream of meeting. Yet with mistakes comes negitive effects, and Lily and Snape hadn't spoken all summer. She refused to forgive him, and he's been the worst selfloathing stage of his teens.
RP Example:
Just grabbed something real fast and small, since it already took me 3 blooming hours to do this lousy bio!
Board: Pine Ridge Academy, an american Hogwarts.
Original Character.
Thread: All There Was
...to do was wait. These last three days of packing, paperwork, supplies fetching, and coming onto the grounds was going by way too slow. And even though he was here classes hadn't even started yet. Rosencrantz leaned back against one of the smallest trees in the garden, rather than sitting down on the bench just to the left of it. He crossed and held his arms loosely over his chest, his long sleeved faded blue thermal shirt drapped from his boney shoulders and down to his waist line bunching up at the bottom. He looked up at the sky from between a few lost dreds that layed over his face. After glancing around for a moment he closed his eyes and let his back slide down the trunk of the tree, just a few inches bending his knees a bit in a better attemped to get more relaxed (as awkwards as his body position now was.) It didn't work anyone. He'd always had a hard time of being calm. Quiet and mellow he usually was, but never mentally calm.
