Student Information
Full Name: Bellatrix Black.
Age: 16.
Year: 6th.
House: Slytherin.
Parents: Cygnus and Drusella (Rosier) Black.
Blood: Pure, baby.
What side are you on?: Lord Voldemort's. Forever and ever no matter what.
Appearance Description: She was blessed with the aristocratic Black looks. Tall with dark hair, heavily-lidded eyes and an air of arrogance. Attractive even as a young teenager, Bella moves with elegance and grace. Her hair is taken care of, shiny and smooth, almost reaching her waist and she doesn't like to tie it or wear it up but for special occasions. Her eyes are a cold, grayish tone and they pierce even without meaning to. Her skins is soft and pale, like most women in her family, for they must look delicate; they're practically royal, remember? You'll find her wearing mostly wizards robes, to honour her blood and background, although lately it has changed. A robe would only limit her and her new activities and she has switched to a more comfortable and fitting outfit that goes with a mask. All black, by the way.
Biography: The last name Black is bound to make some people tremble and others sneer. It has been so for hundreds of years that it has had such status. They have a crest ( shield with greyhounds rampant charged with a chevron, two five-pointed stars and a short sword) and a motto, Toujours Pur. And, although they've had descendants of mixed blood, they're not recognized by the family. A powerful lot, prominent in the wizarding world, always involved somehow with the ministry and known for their darkness and racism, although socially respected.
Bellatrix is the second of three sisters, but might as well be the first, since the eldest, Andromeda, renounced her status and background by going with a muggleborn, Ted Tonks. Wealthy and important, the Blacks never lacked any of their material satisfactions. Since very young the Black sisters were taught that Muggles are inferior and that anything related to them, they should stay away from. They were told that wizards are the only race that should exist and in the future it will be so, that everybody should fight for the world to be purified, perfected. Bella grew up believing this ideas and executing them in her everyday life by discriminating all muggleborns at school and rejecting wizards that opposed purity.
The sister would gather with their cousins, Sirius and Regulus, although Bella never got along with the eldest, who was like her sister Andromeda. They'd both be rejected by the family later on and Sirius would in fact, turn against them by joining Albus Dumbledore in the fight against Lord Voldemort. But as children Bella enjoyed taunting them and messing with their lives. What became as childish games turned into a full-fledged enemity.
While at Hogwarts, Bella's loyalty to her family and its ideas was just not enough. She believed that the world could be changed, purified and perfected by eliminating muggles and all that had to do with them. When this Lord Voldemort character appeared in England, professing hatred toward everything non-magic, Bella joined him without hesitating. Her passion, cunning and drive soon made her first in class and was lucky to have Tom Riddle as her private tutor. The more she knew him, the more she admired him. His quest to eradicate muggles was a hard and a difficult one but Bell was eager to stand by him every step of the way. No. Matter. What.
After graduation, Bellatrix is to be married to her school boyfriend, Rodolphus Lestrange, who comes a from another decent pureblood family. Although Bellatrix isn't in love with the boy, the marriage is convenient to both families, who are keen on keeping the line clean and Bella does not object. Her futurw husband wants to be a Death Eater as well as are her two future bother-in-laws, Rabastan (Rodolphus' brother) and Lucius Malfoy (Narcissa's boyfriend). But Bella's admiration toward her Lord is becoming so strong, she knows she'll never devote her life to anyone else. She is set on becoming her most faithful servant, in every possible way and a great asset to the Death Eaters.
Bellatrix isn't the warmest of people. There's very few people she actually cares about and that is her sister, Narcissa and Tom Riddle. She's loyal to her family and fellow Death Eaters but is usually cold and distant in her interactions. She doens't trust easily but shen she does, you can surely count on her, even if she might not look like a reliable human being. She has a boyfriend, although she is not in love, but she respects him and works alongside him efficiently. She's a girl with a lot of hatred in her heart and it is mainly focused on the muggle community, her traitor of a sister, Andromeda, her cousin Sirius and the cretin Albus Dumbledore.
Bellatrix gets high marks in school and is talented in the Cruciatus Curse. Of course, she is learning from the best. The Dark Lord is also teaching her Occlumency.
There's many awful things you can say about Bella but two good things nobody can deny is passionate and loyal. But yes, Bella is cruel, sadistic, demented, the wildest out of the three Black sisters, and a spiteful little lass. It is not that her concept of right and wrong is wacked; no, it is perfectly in order; she just loves evil. It brings her joy; she is convinced that the greater good is not for her and her kind and the world should be redone. She's sarcastic, intellectual, impatient, conniving and independent. She knows what she wants, what she believes in and does what it takes to achieve her means, inconsiderate of the rest of the world's well-being.
She's a romantic - yes! Yes, she is. She has a vision of a new world and has given everything she has, devoted her youth, her skills, her mind and her body to make it a reality. Like I said, she is loyal to the end. Bella might not care about most people and most things in life, but those she has vowed to honour, she fights for and defends with her soul (if you can call it that). Bella talks a lot too, not caring who she might hurt of maybe even destroy... as a matter of fact, she talks with that intention most of the time. She was born with the Black family gift of gab, ideas, and salesmanship. Words get them into trouble - and out of them. Bella despises stagnation of any kind and thrives for circulation and movement.
Freedom and space is a must. She's lively (for better or worse), witty, trendy, and let us not forget... charming! Unlike her blood traitor of a sister, Andromeda, Bella, along with Narcissa, are praised and adored by the entire Pureblood community (save the Weasleys). Even at school her grades wouldn't flop. Most teachers hated her sneering and cold, superior attitude but could never have an excuse to get her in detention... until her last year of school, when Bella's means became of a another level and was suspected of practicing the dark arts. Everybody knows she's faithful to her family's chauvinistic ideas and despises muggles and everything to do with them.
RP Example: She heard the door click shut behind her and heaved an impatient sigh without turning from the window. Her mother had just left the room, pleased and proud and a bit emotional for her lovely daughter was to be wedded the next day. It was late and rather chilly but Bella didn't bother to step away from the window or even close it. She rolled up her long, green sleeve as soon as it had been safe and extended her arm to admire, once more, her beloved mark. It was barely visible at the moment, only a pale scar, but the skull and the snake could be perfectly identified. Bella looked at it for a few seconds before covering it up again and finally turning away from the night air.
Her wedding dress was beautifully set on her bed, next to her wand and golden necklace with an merald stone her mother had just given her, that she had worn herself on her wedding day. Bella walked lazily towards it and picked it up. It was certainly beautiful and very valuable and it was Andromeda who had been meant to wear it on her wedding, being the eldest, if she hadn't done what she did. Bella's blood boiled whenever she thought of her and pushed the thought form her mind. Moving on to much comforting events, it was almost time. She had been practicing the Dark Arts with her Lord for many months now and soon enough she'd be at his side to help him make this world a better one. Along with Rodolphus, she'd leave with the sole purpose to do the Dark Lord's bidding and nothing else.
